    Ingredients

    • 45g rolled oats
    • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
    • 180ml soya milk
    • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
    • ½ tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 tsp maple syrup
    • ½ banana, sliced
    • 2 ½ tbsp pecans, chopped

    Method

    1. Start with the soya milk in a jar or bowl and add the maple syrup, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Tip in the ground flaxseed and rolled oats, then stir or shake until it all looks evenly mixed.

    2. Cover and chill it overnight, so the oats can soak up the soya milk and soften. If you need it sooner, 3-4 hours is enough.

    3. In the morning, when you are ready to eat, top the oats with the sliced banana and chopped pecans.
