Ingredients
- 250g frozen edamame, thawed and patted dry
- ¾ tbsp olive oil
- ¾ tsp soy sauce
- ⅓ tsp toasted sesame oil
- ⅓ tsp garlic granules
Method
Line a large baking tray and heat the oven to 220°C (fan 200°C).
Rinse the edamame, then spread them on a tea towel and pat them thoroughly dry, because wet beans steam rather than crisp.
Toss them with the garlic granules, sesame oil, soy sauce and olive oil until every bean is evenly coated.
Spread them over the tray in one layer and bake for about 20 minutes, until lightly browned and crisp. Give the tray a shake halfway through so they colour evenly.
Let them cool for a few minutes before eating, as they come out very hot. Keep any left over in an airtight container.
