Ingredients
- 12 tbsp almond butter, at room temperature
- 8 tbsp honey
- 140g rolled oats
- 50g vanilla protein powder
- 40g dark chocolate chips
Method
Take a 20cm square tin and line it with baking paper.
Beat the honey into the almond butter in a large bowl until smooth.
Stir the oats through until they are fully coated.
Next, fold in the chocolate chips and protein powder. Keep working the mixture, which turns stiff here, until no dry patches are left.
Spoon it into the tin and press it down firmly. Smooth the top level with the back of the spoon.
Freeze for 1 hour so it sets firm. Lift the block out of the tin, cut it into bars and store them in the fridge.
