    Ingredients

    Amounts for
    • 2 salmon fillets, skinless
    • 2 tsp olive oil
    • 4 tbsp honey
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
    • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
    • sesame seeds to taste, to serve
    • 9 stems of broccolini
    • 250g pre-cooked rice, microwave pouch

    Method

    1. Dry salmon fillets with kitchen paper, then season. Mix honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar and crushed garlic in a small bowl to make a glaze.

    2. Warm oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Lay salmon in and leave it 3-4 minutes to colour, then flip and give it 2-3 minutes more.

    3. Meanwhile, boil broccolini in a small pan of water for 3-4 minutes, until tender, then drain. Microwave rice following its pack. Heat only the rice for the portions you're eating now, and heat the rest when you eat the leftovers.

    4. Tip glaze over salmon and let it bubble for about 1 minute, until syrupy. Loosen with a spoonful of water if it gets too thick before fish is ready.

    5. Plate salmon on rice with broccolini alongside. Spoon over any glaze left in the pan and scatter with sesame seeds.
